After discharge, there is close cooperation between our team and the patient's referring cardiologist. The follow-up appointments take place with the cardiologist, but can also be held at our Heart Center. If the patient consents, we will continue to carry out follow-up care over years as part of scientific investigations by contacting the patient by telephone to check on their condition. Patients can withdraw their consent any time.
