After surgery, our patients usually spend one day at the intensive care unit. They then spend a further day on our intermediate care unit and usually three to four days on our normal care department. From the first day after the operation, our patients are mobilized by our in-house physiotherapists. Discharge from our clinic usually occurs at the fifth postoperative day, either at home or in rehabilitation center.
